USA - Senior Sales Engineer
Are you the best in your field? Because we need the best to join our fast growing dedicated data warehousing software company. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with Oracle, SQL Server or Teradata as well as a background in data warehousing that works.
Location is flexible within the continental US, and will involve some travel.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise for high performing sales executives and partners
- Demonstrate software capabilities (on-site and via web demos)
- Lead 24-hour challenges (build data warehouse or data mart prototypes from customer provided data and demonstrate the next day to highlight rapid development capabilities of WhereScape RED)
- Build data warehouse proof of concepts on-site
- Provide data warehouse best practice and technical advice and support to customers (backed up by the software support and consulting teams)
- Advocate on behalf of customers for new product features
Position Requirements
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of building data warehouses
- Extensive experience in Oracle, SQL Server or Teradata and a willingness and ability to learn and use all three databases
- Experience in SQL programming (Oracle, SQL Server and/or Teradata)
- Extreme customer focus
- Strong communication skills
- Proven problem solving skills
- Highly self motivated
- Able to work independently
